MaDnESS!

Sunny nights and somber days
threaten me my pain to stay
wishing one's wither away
frightened by one's ultimate dismay

crush my instincts turn them flat
make my shiny all but matte
purring dogs and barking cats
prove me wrong, yet right in fact

Turtle doves fly in one black sky
hens they frolic in a pig sty
eagles they no longer fly
and Human pits against other human kind

subtlety— yet so much work endured
in a blazed and frozen sea shore
wet is the sand yet dry is the water
full of one thing and wanting more

sunny nights and moonlit days
the Happy gone yet confusion stays
Let the past become my play
and give me joyful times again
